My Story
I began studying personal finance in 2008 out of a sense of urgency: as the Great Recession destroyed families’ dreams of home-ownership and retirement, I kept asking myself, “how did so many financial advisors let this happen to their clients?” I set out to protect myself from a similar experience by being more informed.
Over time, this interest became a true fascination with the fields of personal finance, investing, and economics. Eventually I realized that I could help people improve their lives and their futures with these skills, so I chose to change careers and become a financial professional.
It quickly proved to be an excellent choice. My research and experience have shown me that few things can have a greater impact on a person’s quality of life and peace of mind than learning to harness the power of their financial resources with purpose and gratitude. I remain passionate about helping people master their money as a tool for living their best lives.
During my six years in financial services I grew increasingly frustrated with an industry culture centered on profits rather than people. The constant push from my managers to “sell, sell, sell” conflicted my belief that I owe my clients more than a sales pitch. I often let a good sales prospect leave my office with the free advice they truly needed instead of closing a sale on a product they didn’t. Time and again my managers tried to tempt me with sales bonuses or threaten me with pay cuts, but I insisted on putting my clients’ best interests first. My response to such managerial tactics has always been the same: “That’s bullshit.”
For me, those two words have come to encompass my feelings about how Wall Street and the financial services industry serve themselves more than their clients. Having decided that I could no longer participate in that machine, I went independent.
I founded the No Bull Financial Consulting Company with a clear objective: revolutionize the financial services industry by truly serving my clients’ best interests at a fair price. It really is that simple.
Services & Pricing
I provide financial consulting services through my firm, No Bull Financial Consulting. I do not sell products, and I do not receive any commissions or referral fees. My only revenue comes from the Flat Fees I charge my clients.
This minimizes conflicts of interest and ensures that my incentives are always aligned with your best interests.
I specialize in helping people gain their financial independence through debt and income management, and then maintain their financial independence through detailed financial planning. I also consult on a variety of ad hoc financial issues on an hourly basis.
